Why learning a language is “difficult”
The truth is learning a new language can be difficult… or it can be fun and easy… it all depends on your approach.
And this is where most people make their first mistake. They assume that learning a language is just difficult and keep doing the same things over and over again until they finally give up or actually hate the language they’re learning.
For example, most students that are forced to learn languages at school end up knowing very little by the end of the course. I should know as I was one of them! While I regret not paying more attention now, I just didn’t enjoy learning languages at school.
The main reason being I just didn’t have any motivation to learn. In my school I had to “learn” a language and of the options I had, I chose German. The problem was I lived in New Zealand and Germany (like the other language options I had) was on the other side of the world for me. It’s very hard to stay motivated while learning a language if you can see no reason in doing so.
But I’m here to tell you that learning a language doesn’t have to be like this. And in the next few emails we’re going to talk about motivation, materials, getting fast results, what you really have to learn, having fun, practicing, overcoming embarrassment, and much, much more.
I’m here to tell you that you can learn a language in a few short months if you know how. And there’s no reason to slave away for years to achieve the mastery you desire. All you need is the right approach.
And that’s what you’re going to learn on this website.
