Important note about reviews
Before you dive into the reviews I want to point out a few important things:
1. No language learning program is perfect
No language learning program I’ve found so far is complete when it comes to my views on learning a language quickly and easily. In fact, a lot rely on the methods that I clearly state I’m against all over my website.
However, this doesn’t mean you should avoid language learning programs all together. I believe that while no program is perfect you are a million times better to have some program than no program.
The reason is simple… if you don’t have a guide you’ll quickly lose motivation and not learn anything. You need a program (or classes) to push you. Something where you’ve made a commitment, put your money on the line, and have decided you are going to learn this language… now!
2. Safe internet shopping
All the programs I review are provided through secure merchants that literally can’t take your money and run. Merchant providers like ClickBank are specifically designed to protect you and if you want a refund, they’ll issue it immediately. You don’t need to wait for the guy who runs the website to issue anything.
This way you know you’re safe in all purchases you make from reviews on this website and if you don’t like the product you can instantly get a refund and then chew my ear off in the comments
3. I get money if you buy… oh oh!
For some of the reviews posted here I receive a commission if you purchase. These commissions go to pay for costs related to running and advertising the website. I’d also like to dream that one day it’ll pay me a few cents an hour for all the time I’ve invested but I’m not holding my breath!
However, I never recommend crap. If I did, you’d stop visiting this website and I’m not going to risk that happening. I do my best in all cases to give the pros and cons of all products reviewed here. But if you disagree (or agree) with my assessments, feel free to leave a comment on the particular review for all the world to see.
If this really offends you, you can read the reviews and then type in the URL of the website manually so I don’t receive any commissions. That means you can easily beat the system and I’ll continue to shell out of my pocket for your benefit… it doesn’t bother me at all…
4. Playing with language programs is not my full-time job
Finally, because this website covers so many languages and products, I may not have probably haven’t gone through the full program myself. Most of the time I just breeze through the features to see what they’re offering and if I can, play around with a few exercises.
Also, in cases where one language learning system covers many different languages, I usually assume if it’s good in one language then the format will apply to the other versions. For example, I like the Rocket Language courses and will recommend them for all the languages they cover.
The fact is I can’t sit around playing with language programs all day so I’m simply doing my best to give you the best possible view inside the different programs from my experience.
5. Not all products are reviewed
Good companies with nothing to hide will usually provide me with a review copy of their programs. If they don’t I’m not about to go out and buy all the language programs on the market! So if your favourite program isn’t reviewed, feel free to send me your own review or I’ll try and get a copy. Just let me know.
